It's about communication not design

This book was the best out of several others that I have read realted to usability engineering or UCD. It had several practical examples and stories attached to each topic. Its excellent for starter as well as proffesionals who are working at companies and have to justify several things. Several formates for reports and other resources are available for conducting a good Users and Task Analysis. More so its really easy and interesting to read with all the stories and the diagrams.

Beautifully done - Excellent content - I use it in my class

As an instructor of digital photography at Florida Atlantic University, I recently selected this work for use as a required Textbook for all my classes. It is a must read for a variety of levels of experience. The selection of pictures, illustrations, use of color are well thought-out. Even the gloss-coat paper gives a notice of quality. Let me say this another way; I had already begun writing my own textbook, being unsatisfied with what was available, until I came across this book. My classes contain many diverse students, from practicing medical doctors, attorneys, e-bay retailers, photography enthusiasts, and of course college students. All are quite satisfied with this 400+ page work of art. ...

Great Roadmap for Building Dynamic, Data-driven sites

For seasoned developers, this could be the book that you wish you'd had when you started out building web database apps and data-driven sites. Keeping a copy around for reference, especially if you frequently jump back and forth between projects in different languages/environments, also might be helpful - for those occasions when you need of a quick refresher in PHP/MySQL dev. Moreover, if you find yourself in the position of having to mentor junior developers (or helping non-coder friends) tasked with building or maintaining PHP/MySQL-based sites or apps, then lending them your copy or recommending that they buy their own could save you quite a bit of time and frustration. You almost couldn't ask for a better step-by-step guide.

It seems that every once in a while a real trader comes along and writes a book that gives true insight into the difficult world of profitable trading. With this new book, Gary Smith has written a classic that is an absolute must read by all serious students of the markets. The author specifically describes all of his own trading methods. These methods are completely revealed; nothing is held back for future purchases or future seminars. Mr. Smith is not just another vendor trying to separate you from your capital, but rather a profitable trader who has attempted to assist other traders in mastering this profession. In addition to revealing his own style of trading, Mr. Smith's observations on filters, technical indicators, and seasonal trading are easily adaptable to any style of trading. While I have never traded junk bonds or mutual funds on a short term basis, his methods on these topics is so compelling that I am certainly looking into these topics now.
