Jain Rating: 5/5  This is an excellent and comprehensive book about image processing. Its name is misleading - this is not an introductory book, although it covers all the needed mathematical background. However, this is one of the most valuable books in this field to be handy on your book shelf.

Title: Crystal Reports(R) 9: The Complete Reference Publisher: McGraw-Hill Osborne Media Authors: George K Peck Rating: 4/5  I read the review from "J. Mecina from NM" entitled, "the incomplete reference, February 20, 2003" before buying this book. I think his review is on the mark. Unfortunately, this was the best book I could find that covers the CRD (Crystal Reports Designer) control for Visual Basic. I'm a VB developer with several years of experience and have written many Crystal Reports from simple to moderately complex. So when looking for a good book on the subject, I'm looking for advanced topics. And as was said, unfortunately, this book was not everything that I'd hoped it was. But it still seems to be the best one that I could find. And I spent a good deal of time searching. So... Buyer beware. And good luck.

This book explains what are the proper cards to hold and why. Do you draw ro an inside straight or hold a low pair. Read this book and you will know -- instead of just guessing.

Title: How to Be Invisible: The Essential Guide to Protecting Your Personal Privacy, Your Assets, and Your Life (Revised Edition) Publisher: Thomas Dunne Books Authors: J.J. Luna Rating: 5/5 If you are old enough to drive (or much older), you need to read this book. The author does an excellent job of informing the reader how to maintain privacy and protect oneself under a variety of circumstances. He also understands that not everyone can or wants to achieve the ultimate level that he has - take it as far as you like and are comfortable with. Other reviewers giving a negative impression of this book don't appear to have read (or understood) the entire book. Many of their comments are simply incorrect. Some of this is tough to do and not for everyone and the author makes that perfectly clear. The book is well worth the money and the ONLY book I have found that is supported by the author DAILY with a FREE website. Thank you Mr. Luna!
