this book is good, but it should have more info on stuff, especially chocobo breeding. the weapon and monster lists are also incomplete, and the pictures, although colorful, are dark. get the unofficial guide.

Title: More Eric Meyer on CSS (Voices That Matter)
Publisher: New Riders Press

Perfect for experienced coders

This book far surpasses any CSS book that I've used so far. Eric provides fun, easy projects that teach important concepts applicable to REAL WORLD development.
I am an advanced HTML hand-coder, but I hadn't mastered CSS fully because existing references were not intuitive and did not illustrate how to use CSS in any practical sense.
I give this book my highest recommendation.

Great Start for MySQL

I have been trying to come up with the correct solution for my home website and have found that (after trying Enhydra App Server with MySQL and some other solutions) MySQL is by far the best. And this book is a must have! I highly recommend it for folks looking to learn a great database that's fast and free. Look at PHP too, as it's a great addition to MySQL.

Title: ActionScript for Flash MX: The Definitive Guide, Second Edition
Publisher: O'Reilly
Authors: Colin Moock
Rating: 3/5
Customer opinion - 3 stars out of 5
NOT for beginners

This edition of "ActionScript for Flash MX: The Definitive Guide" is truly definitive. Its language reference alone has almost doubled, when compared to what featured in the previous edition. A lot of new methods, classes, objects, and properties have been added. Also, there are hundreds of new code examples which simplified the latest techniques of Flash MX: thus making tasks like: how to create reusable components, draw circles, save data to disk, preload variables and convert arrays to onscreen tables, more understandable. This book is really superb. Its beauty is that it analyzed every aspect of Flash MX tools, including all the undocumented and misdocumented features.
