Non-Comprehensive Review

I bought this book because it was cheaper than 'SQL: The Complete Reference' and I am using it mainly as a reference tool, syntax, structure, inner/outer joins (I always forget how it works), etc.
I needed to do an Update and wanted to find out the correct structure and looked it up in the Index, which had this listing:
'updating. See modifying'
I am being picky, but I would expect the index to have an actual page reference to the Update Statement, instead of having to go to another section. I am concerned about other short comings within the book.

A bit outdated but worth checking out

I purchased this book and was a bit dissapointed that there was focuse on outdated methods like mail-in responses. With the advent of the Web, we've cut our client's costs by 80% and get them a 30% better response rate. Just make sure that whatever survey provider you go with offers correlation analysis, Confidence intervals, and Cumulative distribution are among the various statistical measures used to analyze your results. We're using Vista - no other survey tool gives you all of this crucial information.

Title: CCA Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows Administrator Study Guide (Exam 70-220)

This is a great book!!! This is NOT a 1 or 2 star book!!!

I have read a few of the reviews on this book and was shocked at what I read. This is an extremely useful (real world and in the testing environment) book and it is not even close to being a 1 or 2 star book. This book is a great start for anyone new to Citrix XP or someone who has worked with Metaframe 1.8. All test topics are covered and they are "Real World" related. I have worked with Citrix for many years and have installed over 100 Citrix servers in banks and savings and loans. I believe that the poor reviewers of this book might be trying to pass the CCA test without installing the product. I do not suggest getting into Citrix without a practice server and contrary to some of the reviewers, you can easily pass with the information from this book.

Not even spell checked

This book with its talk of the business "sponser" was not even spell checked. The code will not compile because in Java declarations are case sensitive. Whole paragraphs are repeated. The content is vague and seems to be more of a rant than an attempt to teach.

Horrible. One star is generous.
