The only book you need on use cases

It's about time somebody wrote a good book about use cases. Cockburn provides excellent advice based on years of experience in the trenches. We're implementing the RUP in my company and this book was a useful resource for our analysts.

Excellent PL/SQL Starter book

I'm just getting started with this book. I also have several other Oracle and SQL books. This looks like a good way to get my feet wet. I have worked in IT for 17 years, doing everything from teaching to OS/390 systems work to networking & cisco routers, now Oracle & PL/SQL. I like the approach this book takes. It is a good choice for experienced IT professionals new to this area.
Thanks! Keith

If your serious about photography you need this book!

If you are a photographer thinking about going pro. do yourself a favor and buy this book. The chapters on workflow are worth the price of the book alone. Let's face it, you can have the most expensive equipment in the world but unless you have a very meticulous workflow your just another amateur. This book will show you step by step how a professional does his workflow. Not only will you learn a great workflow but you will learn how to be more efficient using actions that he helps you create. Time is money after all, and if your anything like me you will find that this book paid for itself in the first 30 minutes of reading. If you own many of Scott Kelby's books as I do, your going to feel right at home with Kevin's book. It fills in the missing spaces that Scott's books leave out. This book "is" the missing link!

new programmer

I feel this is a good book for a beginner programmer, one that is interested in having good examples, there is even a cgi programming chaper that is very useful. This is a good book for me, also, I have only used VBScript Programming before, well, also some BASIC in college... Perl seems great to me...
